2022 Pinot Noir Krista's Block
Jeffrey’s Block and Krista’s Block are two Pinot Noirs that are grown just a few hundred feet apart, yet much like their namesakes, demonstrate wildly different personalities. Jeffrey’s Block, a gentle, southeast-facing slope named for owners Jon and Kathy’s oldest son, tends to be our most academic and finessed Pinot Noir, while Krista’s Block, a steep and exposed section named for their tall redhead daughter, boldly bursts with spice and structure. Both wines are grown and vinified identically using the same clones of Pinot noir, allowing the unique terroir of each block take center stage. The result is two wines that perfectly capture the transparency and variability that make Pinot Noir so deeply beloved.
