2021 Pinot Noir Zenith Vineyard 1.5L
We began working with Tim Ramey of Zenith Vineyard a number of years ago, and have been astounded by the balanced opulence of the Pinot Noir coming from the site. Zenith Vineyard is in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA and mostly planted on marine sedimentary soils. The wines from Zenith show exceptional concentration, depth, and have lovely textural plushness.

Tasting Notes
Medium-dark plum skin in color. The nose is powerful, with notes of sweet maraschino cherry and vine-ripened blackberry mixed with high pitched aromas of five spice and star anise. The palate begins with a burst of fruit sweetness, then transitions into a velvety midpalate. The wine finished with a pleasant cherry pit bitterness and supple and well integrated tannin structure
Vintage Notes
The 2021 Oregon harvest will be one to remember. It was dry with heat spikes throughout the summer. Fortunately, the grapes were unaffected by the historical “Heat Dome” that descended upon us in June. The fruit was beautiful and balanced, with generous aromatics.
